My Tea Break

Rediscovering Tea around the world

Cocoa Tea

Have you tried Cocoa Tea?

I tried for the first time in Borough Market last weekend and I have to say I’m not a big fan. The aroma is very rich but the flavour is just very bland.

Nowadays, there are a lot of cocoa and chocolate Tea options available:

Harney & Sons Chocolate Mint Tea: Black tea with chocolate flavouring and peppermint leaves

Teavana Cacao Mint Black Tea: Black Tea, cocoa pieces (chocolate, cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier soy lecithin, vanilla), hazelnut pieces, cocoa and pepperming flavouring and peppermint leaves

Adagio’s Chocolate Tea: Made with Ceylon black tea, cocoa nibs and natural chocolate flavour

Chocolate Tea Flakes by Teapigs: A blend made with Black tea, chocolate chips, cocoa beans and natural flavouring.

Numi Tea – Chocolate Pu-Erh: A rich blend of dark Puerh with organic cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, nutmeg and cinnamon.

Whittard of Chelsea Loose Dark Chocolate Tea: A blend with black Tea, cocoa bean kernels and pieces of chocolate.

Tisano Chocolate Tea: This is a pure chocolate herbal infusion as it’s made 100% from organic Cacao Bean Shell.

If you’re a chocolate fan like us you might also enjoy Matcha Chocolat’s unique, award winning chocolates created by combining artisan quality chocolate with a wide variety of fine and rare Teas, herbs, fruits, and spices from around the world.
